The work tries to inspect the issue of the authenticity of photography. The content is divided into two sections: the first outlines the issue of manipulation against the background of the historical reception of photography and within the photographic media as such. The second part is the analysis and comparison of other interpretative frames of photography and especially news and art in the Czech and world context.
